Gen Con 2009: Aug 13-16

I don't understand the press release linked to the title of this post. Titled:

Wizards of the Coast to Co-Sponsor Gen Con Indy 2009 Don't they always? Clearly there is some part of this I don't know. The press release is making a big deal out of it so there must be something I'm missing. Someone fill me in.
